Good Morning Everyone ~ I really went way back in my craft stash for my #ShopYourCraftStash ‘Tis the Season creation today.
Well my craft show in the neighborhood last night was very successful. Everything I had was $2 or $3. I made $124 so I was really pleased. I did sell a few cards but the biggest sellers were chocolate items and gift card holders. I am hoping to sell some of the items that did not sell last night today at a different craft show. I am taking notes so I know what to do and what not to do next year.
Saturday is my #ShopYourCraftStash day. I went way back for my card today. How many of you remember the old steel rule dies we use to have? I have one that I knew I had to use when I ran across it. I wanted to continue using the Wrapped in Plaid designer series paper so I used a pattern and created a tag with it. Then I had to work on the rest of the card. I felt the card was too plain so I went looking in my stash for something else. I pulled out my steel rule dies and there was a large snowflake in them so I pulled it out and used some sparkle glimmer paper that I mounted onto a Shaded Spruce card base. I put the tag in the lower right hand corner and added some of the gold sparkle ribbon we had a few year ago. I wanted something else so I pulled out the Project Life Holiday Cheer stamp set and stamped the cute tree in the set using Shaded Spruce. I cut it out and mounted it onto a piece of Shaded Spruce card stock and added it using dimensionals. To finish the card I used Cherry Cobbler and stamped the sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings. The classic label punch was used to punch it out and then I repunched it to make it shorts. To set it apart I sponged the edges with Cherry Cobbler ink and added it with dimensionals. Here is the completed #ShopYourCraftStash ‘Tis the Season creation.
